Pawpaw's Birthday and Mimi's Memorial Coffee

Happy Birthday Pawpaw!!!!!! I had a wonderful time at your party Saturday night.

I have also had a wonderful time with my Great Aunt Vicki who has been in town from New Orleans since Friday.

Sunday we had a Memorial Coffee for my Great Grandmother Mimi. We miss her very much and it was nice to have all our friends and family come together to remember her.

Monday we celebrated Memorial day with a traditional bar-b-que. I then spent the night at Pawpaw and Grandma's since my Momma was going to work. Grandma and Aunt Vicki then took me shopping today. I had a blast. Hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend too!

Having a good time at Pawpaw's Birthday Party!
Pawpaw showed me how to make the car zoom!

We gave Pawpaw a gift basket full of goodies. I then thought it was fun to carry my blanky around in the basket that was bigger then me.

The Zoo and Swim Lessons

We have had another busy/fun week around here. Monday night Mommy got cancelled from work and Daddy was on call but managed to get some sleep. So, Tuesday we got to go to the Zoo. We watched the Sea Lion show and of course saw all the other animals. Oh, and I got to ride the train for the first time. I had so much fun on my day out with my parents.

Wednesday, after storytime at the North Shelby Library, we went by St. Vincent's One-Nineteen and signed me up for swim lessons. I went to my first class today. It was so much fun. I learned how to kick, splash, blow bubbles, and climb out of the pool. Can't wait for next week.
I had a great time at swim class, eventhough this picture doesn't show it. I was a little worn out after class.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to everyone and especially my Mommy.

We had a busy weekend around here. Two of my great uncles came in town. Uncle Phil came in from St. Louis and Uncle Lou from Texas (hope he didn't bring the swine flu with him). We had a big family dinner Friday night and the LSU crawfish boil on Saturday. I didn't eat any crawfish but was interested in watching them crawl around. Maybe next year I will give one a try. I did like the pinata and hula hoop. My mommy actually won the Mother's day give away which was exciting.

Today we of course made the rounds. First we went to Grandma's and Pawpaw's for lunch with everyone. Then we ended the day at Pop's and Lollie's for dinner. It was great to be able to see my Great Grandmothers Cooka and Momma also. Love you all!

Pawpaw helped me find the bat for the pinata

Me and my Great Uncle Lou. He managed to spoil me and get me hooked on M&Ms over the course of just one weekend.

Coloring with my Great Uncle Phil, who also contributed to spoiling me over the weekend.

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY! Yesterday was my daddy's Birthday. He still had to go to work, blah. My parents and their friends went out to eat last night to celebrate, while I played at Pawpaw and Grandma's house. Hope Daddy had a wonderful day.

My eye is feeling much better and you can't really even tell anymore that there was even a problem. Thanks everyone for checking on me.

I am so happy it has been warm outside. We have been doing a lot of fun activities outside to enjoy the weather. I really love sidwalk chalk and played for over an hour in the driveway with it the other day. Me and Mommy drew the ABCs, my name, flowers, and traced our hands. So fun! We also got a kiddie pool for the back yard. We invited Mrs. Britney and Lillian over to play. Lillian doesn't really like water, so she really didn't care to much for the pool. I had a blast, and Dakota likes it too.

Oh, guess what! We have baby doves! They were born about a week ago. There is either 2 or 3 babies, it is kinda hard to tell. It is very exciting to watch them feed and grow.
