Mommy took me back to the pool today! What a blast!

Just wanted to give everyone a little update. I went to the Doctor today for my 6 month checkup. I now weigh 16lb 8oz and I am 27in long. That puts me in the 50th percentile for weight and 90th for height. Mommy and Daddy don't know where I am getting my height from. They also started me on some vitamins that don't smell or taste very good. They told me I am like my mommy, and one of my blood levels or something is a little low. Once I get a little bigger I can take flinstone vitamins and they said those are yummy. :) Before my doctor's appointment, I spent the day with my grandparents while mommy cleaned our house. I had fun, but my mommy said she worked really hard. The house smelled wonderful when I got home. Well I guess that is about it. Have a great weekend.

What a fun weekend! I spent the night at my grandparent's Wednesday and Thursday because my mom had to work. After she got a nap Friday, we went to the pool. Dad came and met us straight from the hospital in his scrubs, so he couldn't get in and play. He did take some pictures though. The water was a little cold at first and I wasn't sure I would like it, but then I got used to it and had so much fun. Friday night my parents had plans for some sort of rehearsal dinner or something. I stayed with my grandparents. Saturday was Aunt Emily and Uncle Mike's wedding. It was so pretty and so much fun. Aunt Emily looked like a princess. I was good at the ceremony up until the organ played "Here comes the Bride," that scared me. Mommy had to walk outside with me. I then spit up on my pretty dress and had to get cleaned up. We were the first people to see the new Dr. and Mrs. Michael Adkins though. By the time the reception started, I was getting a little tired. I did get a dance in with Uncle Wally and Daddy before my grandparents took me to go get a nap. Today I am just resting from all the activites of the weekend.

Yes, I am 6 months old today! Mom and Dad can't believe how the time flies and how fast I am growing up. I have definitely come a long way in 6 months, from 5lb 13oz to around 16lb. I have nearly tripled my birth weight!

Happy Father's Day Daddy!!!

Today was so much fun visiting all my grandparents. Mommy worked last night, so Dad and I spent the morning together while Mom got a short nap. Yesterday evening my grandparents kept me while Dad went out with some friends. Thursday and Friday I was at the hospital most of the time with my grandpa. He did great with his surgery and was so happy that I was there to help make him feel better. Mommy said I was an angel, being up at the hospital all day and behaving myself. I got to meet several of my mommy's friends at work. They were all very nice and thought I looked like a big girl. Mom weighed me while we were at the hospital and I weighed 16lb 5oz with clothes and a diaper on. It must be all that yummy food! Well, I guess that is about all I have been up too. I am now just looking forward to Uncle Mike and Aunt Emily's wedding this weekend.

Mom had to work this weekend, so it was a Daddy and me weekend. Saturday, He took me to my Great-great-grandmother's house . I had so much fun with everyone and Daddy said I was very well-behaved. My mom will have to get some pictures from my grandmother. Today, Mommy and I went and met Grandma for lunch and ran some errands. They got me a new highchair cover. I got to sit in the big highchair at lunch for the first time. I liked sitting in it better then my carseat, and Mom said I acted much better than I have been. It is nice to be able to see everything. We then went to Pottery Barn Kids and I really liked the little chair they have there, it was just my size. Maybe I will get one of my own one day. Tomorrow, I think Mommy said we are just having a PJ day. Those days are nice sometimes. Thursday, my poor Pawpaw is having surgery. We will be at the hospital most of the day with him. Mom said I needed to be on my best behavior. Pawpaw wants me there when he wakes up, and also some people will be coming to see him and they want to see me too. Mom said that we may also go by and see some of her friends at work. What a long day, I guess thats why we will be resting tomorrow.
