"When I have a brand new hairdo..."

I guess my recital song inspired my mom to get my haircut. I got 6 inches cut off!! I was sitting in Mommy's lap facing her while they were cutting it. After they finished, they turned me around to see it and I completely fell apart. I hated it! I wanted my long hair back. I cried and cried. Mommy took me to get a milkshake to calm me down. A hour and several complements later it started to grow (no pun intended) on me. It was also a surprise to my Pawpaw on his birthday, but he liked it. By the next morning, I loved it! It is a great summer do and easier to wash and brush. I guess it was just the initial shock. What do you think?

Program Book

Forgot to include a picture of my page in the dance program book in my last post. I got a page all to myself! Thanks everyone!

Dance Recital!!!

Saturday night was my 1st dance recital!! I loved it. Everyone said I did a great job. I love the big stage and wasn't nervous at all. Can't wait for next year.

Me and Mommy had some fun yesterday playing with the camera. I was being a ham and wanted my picture taken, so Mommy went with it. I thought several of them turned out pretty cute. I am going to get me hair cut after my recital this weekend, so Mommy wanted a few last pictures with my long hair. What do you think?

Dancing at Children's Hospital

Friday night I had the opportunity to dance at Children's Hospital with my friends. It was nice being able to have fun and hopefully make other kids feel better. Mommy and Daddy said I did a great job!

Daddy's friend Mrs. Mandy from work was very nice to invite us to the lake. We had a blast. Her daughter, Bailey and I were quick friends. I hope we get together again soon for a play date! (Please excuse the horrible picture quality, Mommy forgot her good camera.)
